Select 'Draw Area' or 'Draw Line' and click on the map to find the Latitude and Longitude.
How To Use This Tool
To find Latitude and Longitude, click on the map. But, to measure distance, and areas directly on the map, use the buttons above to switch between drawing lines or shapes (polygons).
Drawing Modes:
- Draw Area : Click points on the map to define a shape. Click 'Close Polygon' or click the first point again to calculate the area and perimeter.
- Draw Line : Click points on the map to draw a path. The total length of the line is calculated as you add points.
Features:
- Latitude & Longitude:: Displays results directly on the map.
- Multi-Unit Calculations: Displays results in various metric and imperial units.
- Point Management: Add points by clicking, remove the last point, or clear everything.
- Location Search: Find places using the search bar.
- Map Layers: Switch between Map, Satellite, Street, and Topographic views using the layer control () on the top right of the map.
- Map Export: Download an image of the current map view with your drawing.
- Coordinate Display: Click on a point marker to see its coordinates.
